Position Overview:
The Delivery Specialist will lead the translation and voiceover project, ensuring that content and platforms are accurately adapted for South Asian markets. This role requires expertise in managing projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and working with translators and vendors to deliver high-quality, localized content that meets market-specific requirements.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of project, including planning, scheduling, and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously to ensure timely delivery.
- Vendor Management: Source, manage, and coordinate with localization vendors, freelancers, and translation partners to ensure quality and consistency across languages.
- Quality Control: Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and overall quality of localized content. Work with language specialists to conduct regular quality checks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to understand localization needs and ensure the platform meets market-specific requirements.
- Budget Management: Manage the project budget and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Market Research: Stay updated on localization trends, technology, and best practices to continually refine and improve localization processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in dubbing or voice over industry. Experience in the sports or media industries is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in South Asian languages is a strong advantage.
- Team Handling: Should have managed a team of 10+ translators or voiceover artists.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of localization tools, translation management systems (TMS), and industry-standard voiceover processes.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with cross-functional teams.
- Vendor Management: Experience working with localization vendors and freelancers, with a focus on quality control and budget management.
- Technology-Savvy: Familiarity with AI-driven translation/localization solutions is a plus. Ability to work with engineering teams and understand technical constraints related to localization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and improving localization processes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate localization needs and strategies, manage expectations with stakeholders, and work across cultures and languages.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification in additional languages is a plus.
